چکیده
In this study, the immunoactive effect of Gryllus bimaculatus water extract (GBWE) on macrophages was investigated under various extraction temperature conditions. The study found that GBWE did not induce cytotoxicity in RAW 264.7 cells within tested concentration range. Treatment with different conditions resulted an increase cytokine secretion and nitric oxide production treated cells. Furthermore, treatment increased expression surface molecules, GBWE-treated showed phosphorylation mitogen-activated protein kinases nuclear factor-kappa B translocation. experimental results suggest exhibits immune-enhancing effects macrophages. Notably, these were observed even extracted at low temperatures (5°C 25°C) without exposure to high (75°C) typically used for extraction. These findings has potential be as alternative source functional food material immunostimulatory properties.

New microsatellite loci isolated from the field cricket Gryllus bimaculatus characterized in two cricket species, Gryllus bimaculatus and Gryllus campestris.
We have developed a new set of 27 polymorphic markers for each of two cricket species, Gryllus bimaculatus and Gryllus campestris. Initially, 14 published G. bimaculatus loci were tested in G. campestris; however, only five loci were polymorphic. Therefore, we isolated an additional 50 new microsatellite loci from G. bimaculatus and tested these in both species. In a minimum of 20 individuals, ...
متن کاملEmbryonic development of the cricket Gryllus bimaculatus.
Extensive research into Drosophila melanogaster embryogenesis has improved our understanding of insect developmental mechanisms. However, Drosophila development is thought to be highly divergent from that of the ancestral insect and arthropod in many respects. We therefore need alternative models for arthopod development that are likely to be more representative of basally-branching clades. The...
متن کاملOlfactory learning in the cricket Gryllus bimaculatus.
The olfactory learning capability of the cricket Gryllus bimaculatus was studied. Crickets were deprived of drinking water for 4 days and were individually trained to associate peppermint with water and vanilla with NaCl solution. Their odour preference was tested before and after training by allowing them to choose between peppermint or vanilla sources. The time spent visiting each source serv...
متن کاملGraphene Nano-Ribbon Field Effect Transistor under Different Ambient Temperatures
This paper is the first study on the impact of ambient temperature on the electrical characteristics and high frequency performances of double gate armchair graphene nanoribbon field effect transistor (GNRFET). The results illustrate that the GNRFET under high temperature (HT-GNRFET) has the highest cut-off frequency, lowest sub-threshold swing, lowest intrinsic delay and power delay product co...
متن کاملAggressive behavior in the antennectomized male cricket Gryllus bimaculatus.
Male crickets (Gryllus bimaculatus) exhibit intensively defensive aggressive behavior towards attacking males most often culminating in fighting. After the fight, the loser no longer exhibits aggressiveness in a second, separate encounter with another male; rather, the defeated male exhibits avoidance behavior. Here, we investigated the role of sensory input from the antennae in male defensive ...
